Do you board pets?

We do not board pets and only offer visits in your home. This is less stressful for both you and your pets, and allows us to individualize their care.

What happens if there is severe weather?

If there is severe weather and we are unable to make it to your home due to road conditions, we will contact your emergency contact that lives close by and request they take over care until we are able to do so.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes, we are insured and bonded through Business Insurances of the Carolinas, LLC. We can provide proof of insurance upon request.

Are you certified, and what does that mean?

Yes, we are a member of and certified through NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters). The NAPPS Certification acknowledges that the pet sitter is a serious professional who has obtained a high level of expertise through his/her study. All of our sitters are also First-Aid and CPR certified. Tails on Time is also recommended by the Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital in Cary, NC.

Can you pet sit for my pets without doing a consultation?

No, we must meet pets before caring for them. Our schedule is flexible, and we can usually fit you in last minute for a quick consultation if you are in a hurry.

What previous experience do you have with pets?

Amy has 18+ years of pet experience and has previously worked for Dog Guard Out-of-Sight Fencing and Cuddles on Call pet sitting. She also runs an unofficial cat rescue, Cats on the Horizon. She also has experience with young, old, and sick animals and has had a love for animals since she was young. Amy has cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, reptiles, birds, farm animals, fish, and wildlife.
